DY Promotions presents the "4th Annual Mountain Trail Smackdown" held at Mountain Trail Bowhunters, W. Chenango Rd, Castle Creek, New York.
This is a "Vegas Style" shoot with Elimination/Shootoff rounds.  DIVISIONS: "OPEN" - Shoot what you bring; "BOWHUNTER"-12" stabilizer & no scope lense.

The Harry Staebell Memorial Shoot (also in memory of Mary Staebell & Barry McCaskey) will be held at West Falls Conservation Society, 55 Bridge Street, West Falls, New York.
NFAA & NAA competitors are welcome!! Shooting lines for Saturday, February 6th are: 9 AM, 12 NOON & 3 PM.
600 round - 3 arrow ends.  Yeoman (60 arrows @ 9 meters); Bowman & Cub Recurve (60 arrows @ 18 meters on a 60 cm target);
Cadet, Junior, All Compound Competitors & Adults (60 arrows @ 18 meters on a 40 cm target).

DY Promotions presents the 2010 Vegas Smackdown Championship held at Klein's Archery and Outdoor Store, 119 Freeville Rd., Dryden, New York.
Qualifying line times are 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 3:00 PM on Saturday February 27th.
 
Open/Pro: $30 Entry Fee.  $500 to the winner, plus entry payback.
Bowhunter: $15 Entry Fee.  Battling Bucks Taxidermy Bowhunter Championship.  Belt Buckles given out for the champion, runner-up, and third place.

Hundreds of dollars worth of door prizes!  Many top industry sponsors!!
Qualifying rounds will be shot on Saturday the 27th.   There will be line times, and pre-registration is a must.

Qualifying round will be 15 ends at a 3 spot Vegas face target. X's will be scored as 11's.  After the qualifying round, shooters will be placed into flights according to their qualifying scores. 
Top scores go to the top flight, bottom scores go to the bottom flight, etc.  Elimination and Shootoff rounds will be shot on Sunday the 28th.  Each flight will shootoff 1-2 ends at time.
Lowest score of the bunch is out.  Ties will require a 1 arrow shootoff - winner stays, loser sits. 
This continues until there are roughly 3-4 shooters left in each flight, which leaves roughly 10-14 shooters for the final shootoff.
These 10-14 shooters will now enter the final shootoff, shooting 1 end at a time.  Lowest score is out, again ties will require a 1 arrow shootoff. 
This continues until there is 1 final ultimate SMACKDOWN CHAMPION!!

The official score of the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Tournament will be one 60 arrow NFAA 300 Round.  Competitors will have the option of shooting one or two 60 arrow rounds.
Format for breaking tie scores: "Inside-Out X's" will be scored for the last six (6) ends.

The 2010 Empire State Games will be held Buffalo, New York.  The event will mark the 33rd celebration of the Summer Games.  The 2010 Summer Games will mark the fifth time Buffalo has hosted the Empire State Summer Games.  The Games last came to Buffalo in 2003, and were previously held in the city in 1996, 1986 and 1985.  The Games will be hosted in a number of local facilities including the University of Buffalo, Niagara University, Daemen College, Buffalo State College, D'Youville College Canisius College and other local and municipal venues.  For further information visit: http://www.empirestategames.org

The 2011 Empire State Games will be held Rochester, New York.  The event will mark the 34th celebration of the Summer Games. 
Rochester most recently hosted the Summer Games in 2006, and previously in 1993 and 1998.
The University at Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, Nazareth College, Roberts Wesleyan, Monroe Community College and SUNY Brockport are expected to host competitions and house the athletes.
